Happy New Queer

Please note: this club night starts at 00:30 (in the early hours of 1 January). The doors also open at 00:30.

Happy New Queer! We’re kicking off the new year with a healthy dose of mischief: a New Year’s Eve celebration by and for queers. Together with Utrecht-based collectives Queer In Wonderland and Queerdoos (XO), Alice Olsthoorn sets the tone for 2027 with a night of fun beyond the beaten track.

Alice Olsthoorn (DJ set)
After a spectacular 2026, Alice Olsthoorn is ready to turn things upside down once again in 2027. A familiar face in Amsterdam’s underground club scene, Alice is equally at home on the dancefloor and behind the decks. At EKKO, she’ll crank up the BPM before returning on 15 January with a brand-new live set as part of the Ordinair Meisje club tour.

Queer In Wonderland
NT-FRAGILE kicks off the night on behalf of Queer In Wonderland. Over the past seven years, Queer In Wonderland has grown into a cornerstone of Utrecht’s queer nightlife. The transfeminist collective challenges the predictable and celebrates the diversity and versatility of the community.

XO
Since 2025, collective Queerdoos has hosted XO at EKKO. Founders Daddy Knakworst, MBQT and Maeve have made a name for themselves in Utrecht and beyond by exploring the intersections of pleasure, art and beats.
