MODULATION x FRAU. makes its Thugshop debut, bringing together a night of back to back live sets rooted in techno and electronic. Centred around humanism, hardware and real time experimentation, the night brings together artists whose performances are shaped through physical interaction, improvisation and the unpredictability of live synthesis. Leading the night is KAMADOOMA, bringing a distinctly psychedelic touch through live didgeridoo, creating a grounding yet hypnotic presence that sits somewhere between ritual, rhythm and electronic music. Joining them are NINANDO and YANG, two deeply rooted figures within Singapore’s synthesiser community and active members of Synth Commune, a collective dedicated to sharing knowledge, experimentation and hands-on exploration of synthesis and electronic hardware. The night moves into its club phase with ASSSUN and X1NCITY behind the decks, bringing the evening towards the dancefloor through two distinct takes on techno.
