DeepDig: Patrick Forge // Cosmo Sofi

DeepDig's September event brings two London favourites, Patrick Forge and Cosmo Sofi, for a night that fully captures the sound and spirit of the series. Patrick Forge leads the night with an extended 4-hour session, bringing the kind of musical knowledge and dancefloor instinct that has made him such an important figure in London’s jazz, rare groove, broken beat and soulful dance music scenes. From Dingwalls with Giles Peterson and Kiss FM to NTS and dancefloors across the world, Patrick has always joined the dots between rhythm, feeling, history and movement. Cosmo Sofi sets the tone on the terrace, bringing a soulful, wide-reaching approach rooted in warmth, curiosity and discovery. Her selections move naturally between sounds from different times and places, travelling through a wide spectrum of sound, always tied together by feeling and groove. Together, both artists bring genre-blurring journeys through music from across the globe, connecting the space through deep selections, patience and flow.
