Spindrift PARTY with Crimeboys & Significant Other

We are back for one final spin for the year and dance rules are in full effect. The category is PARTY and these boys are ready to serve. We’ll be shaking the black box with five hours of tunes so rude you’ll wish they never stopped. CRIMEBOYS and SIGNIFICANT OTHER are at the helm so you know we’re gonna rock this.

The underworld enterprise known as Crimeboys consists of Ben, Shy and our very own Slunty. The crimeboys operate at the nexus of serenity and debauchery, of irreverency and relevancy, of you think you know and you have no idea. The 3XL cinematic universe keeps expanding and everything from heavy dubs to ethereal drum and bass to gay ambient to sci-fi sludge are on the table. It’s time to stop being polite and start getting real.

Making his Spindrift debut is enigmatic selector and dark prince of the bass bins, Significant Other. Based in Berlin and raised in the UK school of bass science, Roddy weaves a wicked tapestry of tuff tunes, from haunted dancehall to raw steppers and industrial coldness. You may know Significant Other as a founder of the legendary NYC party Club Night Club, or for his label & event series Pain Management. He’s a one of a kind selector so strap in for a wild ride.

This party drift brings us back to the Black Box at Vox Populi. Things will be heating up early as the party runs from 8-1, so pull up & turn up in a timely manner. Tickets will be $15 advance/$20 door, and as always NOTAFLOF pricing is available for those in need. Vox will offer as small selection of refreshments.

The Black Box, lobby and smoking area are open to Spindrift guests, please do not wander the halls or galleries and show this space the love it deserves!
