Open Booth Foundation - BNE - presents: Open Decks Vinyl Edition

Vinyl Edition x OBF

Some say the future is digital.

We say scratch that.

It's time for a full analogue takeover.

For the first time ever - 9 vinyl-only selectors touching the decks. Scratching, cutting, blending it back on the ones and twos.

No screens to hide behind. USBs politely refused loudly.

Dust off your crates.
It's Full analogue or nothing baby.

FAQs

What is Open Decks?

A monthly night featuring rotating DJs and six open slots (6-8PM & 9-10PM) for newcomers. Register your interest ahead of time with a DJ Registration ticket (this does not secure your spot as it must be secured on the night).

What music can I play?

Keep it real. Keep it fun. No one wants to hear jackhammers at 2000BPM. DJs play for the people. Play what you love and what fills a D-Floor.
— Think House, Tech House, Groove, Dnb, Garage.
— think obscure funk, groove-heavy basslines and late-night dance energy. Explore new sounds, read the room, and keep it fresh.

How do I get a slot?

SIGN UP IN PERSON - from 5:30PM using the sheet at the venue. Come early — slots are limited. If you’ve played the last event or are regularly booked, please leave space for others. Miss out? Hang around — sometimes last-minute opportunities pop up.
