Kaerenel: Part 1

Kaerenel is a new hybrid concert series for contemporary electronic music, experimental arts, and creative improvisations based in Copenhagen.

Seeking to curate innovative lineups in the Nordics with an international outlook, Kaerenel explores genre-crossing, active listening, multidisciplinary approaches, a sonic dancefloor, and the undefinable.

Starting with a 2-part electronic concert over two evenings on 20 November & 12 December at Basement Copenhagen, Kaerenel brings together ten artists, musicians & performers— SØS Gunver Ryberg, Cristián Vogel, Bjørn Svin, Ulf Eriksson, Mesak, NATQ, Virginia Supreme, Valdemar Kragelund, JJJacob & Bianka Oravecz —spanning electroacoustics, techno, deconstructed ambient, avantpop, experimental electronics, and other liminal forms, in a hybrid live music-band-DJ setting, accompanied with layered physical-digital art narratives.

This listing is for Kaerenel Part 1 on 20 November 2026, w/ Mesak, Virginia Supreme, Valdemar Kragelund & JJJacob, Natq

Kaerenel Part 2 will be on 12 December 2026 w/ SØS Gunver Ryberg, Cristián Vogel, Bjørn Svin, Natq, Ulf Eriksson
