"LABYRINTH IMPLOSION" is a nocturnal dreamscape—a journey of stealth, exploration, and getting lost amidst shifting light, shadow, and undercurrents. Curated by FinderShanghai, this event is part of a multidisciplinary, cross-media party series. After a hiatus of several years, the "2.0" edition arrives, delivering a deliberate "sonic explosion" that rejects the formulaic, linear logic typical of standard club parties.
We have invited Le Kaiju—a resident artist from the renowned international station RINSE—to deliver a live bass-heavy performance straight from Paris. The event weaves together—and abruptly disrupts—overlapping audiovisual projections, dreamlike theatrical performances, DJ sets that drive the night forward, and a midnight market.

About Le Kaiju [Live Set] (France)
Le Kaiju is a genre-defying producer, DJ, and sound artist based in Paris, known for blending diverse sounds and forms to construct meaning and a sense of unity amidst chaos. They represent a sharp, cutting-edge force within the contemporary European club scene. Their music navigates the realms of Deconstructed Club, heavy percussive rhythms, industrial bass, and distorted experimental electronica. Eschewing conventional, straightforward 4/4 frameworks, Le Kaiju employs abrasive samples, breakbeats, and visceral, sub-shaking bass to generate intense, physically palpable acoustic pressure.
As a resident DJ for Rinse France and a core member of the French independent label Grand Remplacement, Le Kaiju has performed at renowned European underground clubs and cutting-edge festivals, including Virage (Paris), Le Bon Air (Marseille), and Le Sucre (Lyon). Their distinctive sonic aesthetic caught the attention of Ellen Allien—head of the legendary Berlin electronic label BPitch Control—leading to the release of the seminal track "Kill the Party" on the imprint. Le Kaiju has collaborated on releases with artists such as Urtrax and Eloi, and has worked on remixes alongside Anna Morgan, Darzack, and numerous other talented artists.
Born in Paris into a multicultural family with American, Senegalese, and Italian roots—and a lineage of musicians and storytellers—Le Kaiju was introduced to drumming at an early age. They went on to study jazz at the Paris Conservatory before receiving a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in 2016. It was at Berklee, while studying sound design under mentors like Suzanne Ciani and Jean-Luc Sinclair, that they fell in love with electronic music.
Tonight, amidst a cycle of constructing labyrinths and witnessing their collapse, we will deconstruct the multiple storylines hidden within the night. We offer a sanctuary for dancers—a space that rejects the comfort of safety in favor of pure sonic vibration and synesthetic experience. We are no longer mere spectators; we are witnesses and targets within the eye of this multi-narrative storm, and rebuilders rising from the ruins.
See you there!
