silent green present Faitiche returns to silent green to present two solo acoustic sets: Ulla performs their first ever set with acoustic instruments only. Martin Brandlmayr presents a new electroacoustic work within a spatially distributed ensemble of percussion instruments. Ulla Ulla is a Berlin-based musician/composer renowned for crafting intricate and resonant ambient music—characterized by a vaporous blend of gliding electronics and electroacoustics, offering intimate and spectral soundscapes. Ulla's most recent work, Hometown Girl, released under the alias U.e. on their own label 28912, marks a departure from earlier electroacoustic and digital compositions, embracing a more acoustic approach with clean-toned guitar, woodwinds, and piano. Ulla has worked with labels such as Quiet Time, West Mineral Ltd., Motion Ward, Longform Editions, and 3XL. For Temple of Faitiche, Ulla performs their first ever set with acoustic instruments only. Martin Brandlmayr Martin Brandlmayr works in the fields between improvisation and composition and on the intersection of electronic and acoustic soundworlds. As a drummer he is recognized for his distinctive style combining experimental methods and extended techniques with groove elements. Since the mid-90s he has explored hidden sounds and tonal aspects on the instrument, resulting in a particular way of playing characterized by precision both rhythmically and sonically. He is a member of the groups Polwechsel, Trapist and Kapital Band 1 and became internationally known primarily through the trio Radian, founded in 1997. He has released seven albums with Radian since the end of the 1990s, five of them on the US label Thrill Jockey. Martin Brandlmayr has worked with David Sylvian, Howe Gelb, Christian Fennesz, Ken Vandermark, Otomo Yoshihide, Sachiko M, John Tilbury, Mats Gustafsson and The Necks, and many more.
