Abiu

東京を拠点に活動するコンポーザー、DJ。ロンドンのNTS Radioでレジデントを務め、自身の番組を毎月担当中。Abiuはレコードコレクターとしての深い知識とパーティーを盛り上げるセンスを兼ね備えた稀有なDJであり、国内外のクラブをはじめ、名門フェスティバル、数多のダンスフロアでその実力を証明してきた。26年メルボルンのレコードレーベルA Colourful StormのFleetway Tapesシリーズよりカセットをリリース。日本を代表するレコーディング／マスタリングエンジニアであるオノセイゲン主宰、Saidera Masteringの音響チームに所属。レコードショップJET SETにてチャートを執筆。

A composer and DJ based in Tokyo. He is a resident DJ at London’s NTS Radio, where he hosts his own monthly show. Abi is a rare DJ who combines deep knowledge as a record collector with a knack for getting the party going; he has proven his skills on countless dance floors, including at prestigious festivals and clubs both in Japan and abroad. In 2026, he released a cassette on the Fleetway Tapes series from the Melbourne-based record label A Colourful Storm. He is a member of the sound team at Saidera Mastering, led by Seigen Ono, one of Japan’s leading recording and mastering engineers. He also writes the charts for the record shop JET SET.

COLA RENは、広州生まれ、東京を拠点とする作曲家、音楽プロデューサー、DJ、そして
マルチディシプリナリー・アーティストであり、その作品は人間性への観察、内省、
そして旅の風景を織り交ぜたものです。クラシックピアノの訓練を受け、写真というバックグラウンドに
影響を受けた彼女は、映画的な感性で音に取り組んでいます。リズム、質感、そして
フィールドレコーディングを、時間とともに展開する動画像として扱っているのです。
彼女の音楽は、アンビエント、ダウンテンポ、ジャズ、サイケデリックといった様々な影響を自由に行き来し、有機的な温かみと精巧なリズム構成を融合させている。独学でトランペットを習得した彼女は、
進化し続けるライブパフォーマンスの一環としてこの楽器を探求し続け、即興演奏や
より有機的で人間味あふれる要素を自身のエレクトロニック・サウンドに取り入れている。
COLA RENの音楽は、AMWAV、QEONE、Human Pitch、Constellation Tatsuなどのレーベルを通じてリリースされている。彼女の作品は、Gilles Peterson、Shawn Reynaldo、Philip
Sherburneといった国際的なDJやライターから支持を受けている。Worldwide FMのレジデントを務め、Draaimolen、Chunyou、FFKT、GAMPEKIなどのフェスティバルや、ミュンヘンのBlitz、
東京の「Mitsuki」、ベルリンの「Pastiche」、ストックホルムの「Hosoi」といった会場でパフォーマンスを行ってきた。コラボレーション作品には、K-LONE、Al Wootton、Polygonia、Salamanda、Knopha、Mong Tongといったアーティストとのプロジェクトが含まれる。
ジャンルを超越した、物語性を重視したサウンドとDJプレイへのアプローチは、東アジアのバックグラウンドによって形作られた独自の視点を反映しており、彼女の作品はますますグローバル化するエレクトロニック・ミュージックの潮流の中に位置づけられている。

COLA REN is a Guangzhou-born, Tokyo-based composer, music producer, DJ, and
multidisciplinary artist whose work weaves together observations of humanity, introspection,
and the landscapes of travel. Classically trained in piano and shaped by a background in
photography, she approaches sound with a cinematic sensibility—treating rhythm, texture, and field recordings as moving images that unfold in time.
Her music moves freely between ambient, downtempo, jazz, and psychedelic influences,
blending organic warmth with intricate rhythmic design. A self-taught trumpet player, she
continues to explore the instrument as part of her evolving live practice, bringing improvisationand a more organic, human element into her electronic sound.

COLA REN’s music has been released across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. on labels including
AMWAV, QEONE, Human Pitch, and Constellation Tatsu. Her work has received support from
international DJs and writers including Gilles Peterson, Shawn Reynaldo, and Philip
Sherburne. She is a resident at Worldwide FM and has performed at festivals including
Draaimolen, Chunyou, FFKT, and GAMPEKI, as well as venues such as Blitz in Munich,
Mitsuki in Tokyo, Pastiche in Berlin, and Hosoi in Stockholm. Her collaborative work includes
projects with artists such as K-LONE, Al Wootton, Polygonia, Salamanda, Knopha, and Mong
Tong.

Her genre-crossing, narrative-driven approach to sound and DJing reflects a distinct
perspective shaped by her East Asian background, placing her work within an increasingly
global electronic music landscape.

DJ、トラックメイカーであり、Saidera Mastering & Recording所属のエンジニア。uku kasai、E.O.U、Oyubi、Till Yawuhなど新進気鋭のクラブミュージックのアーティストから、サニーデイ・サービス、tofubeats、舐達麻、asuka ando、NONCHELEEE、Undefined、millsage、のろしレコード（折坂悠太、松井文、夜久一）まで、幅広くマスタリングを手がける。カッティングエンジニアとしての知見を活かした記事をnoteで発信中。Shinjuku TracksからYAYA子「My Diner」のリミックス7インチ、Sixth Garden RecordsからAmapianoをテーマにしたミックステープ「SGMX05」が好評発売中。「SFTM001」やHirahira Girlsとの共作のほか、Dill Dodos Recife（仏）、FuFu Records（港）にも楽曲を提供。全曲変名で発表した「SFTM006」は、Mr. Mitch、Joe、Laksaらからサポートを受ける。Summer EyeやDayzeroなどの楽曲をリミックス。BLACK SMOKER RECORDSからMIX CD「蚕食鯨呑」を発表。過去にはRainbow Disco Club、FESTIVAL de FRUEなどのフェスティバルにも出演。

A DJ, trackmaker, and engineer affiliated with Saidera Mastering & Recording. He handles mastering for a wide range of artists, from up-and-coming club music acts like uku kasai, E.O.U, Oyubi, and Till Yawuh, to established names such as Sunny Day Service, tofubeats, Natsutama, Asuka Ando, NONCHELEEE, Undefined, millsage, and Noroshi Records (Yuta Orisaka, Fumi Matsui, and Hajime Yaku). He is currently publishing articles on Note that draw on his expertise as a cutting engineer. A 7-inch remix of YAYAKO’s “My Diner” from Shinjuku Tracks and the Amapiano-themed mixtape “SGMX05” from Sixth Garden Records are currently on sale to great acclaim. In addition to “SFTM001” and collaborations with Hirahira Girls, he has also provided tracks to Dill Dodos Recife (France) and FuFu Records (Minato). “SFTM006,” released entirely under pseudonyms, received support from Mr. Mitch, Joe, Laksa, and others. He has remixed tracks by Summer Eye and Dayzero, among others. He released the mix CD “蚕食鯨呑” on BLACK SMOKER RECORDS. In the past, he has performed at festivals such as Rainbow Disco Club and FESTIVAL de FRUE.

東京出身。2023年に京都に移りdjを始める。
dubの影響を受けたベースミュージックやテクノを軸に、幅広い音でグルーヴを構築する。
West Harlemにてレギュラーパーティ”Baila”を主催し日々表現力を深化させる。

Originally from Tokyo, he moved to Kyoto in 2023 and began DJing.
Centered on bass music and techno influenced by dub, he builds grooves using a wide range of sounds.
He hosts a regular party called “Baila” at West Harlem, where he continues to deepen his artistic expression every day.
