Solmates presents Sparrow & More

Sparrow, the solo project of Swiss DJ, producer, and pianist Bryan Coletta, brings a musician’s ear to the dancefloor. Raised in a musical family and trained in harmony, composition, and improvisation, his work draws from soul, jazz, funk, Afro rhythms, and house.

Coletta first became widely known as the producer and musical architect behind Sparrow & Barbossa, releasing records including “Yeke,” “Nterini,” and “Champion,” and collaborating with artists such as Rampa, Josh Milan, Dele Sosimi, and Idd Aziz. The duo’s debut album Seven Seas surpassed 30 million streams.

In 2022, he founded Tortuga Records, supporting artists across Latin America and helping develop what the label describes as “Caribbean House.” Now working under Sparrow, Coletta is expanding beyond Afro house into a broader house sound while keeping soulful grooves, live musicianship, and harmonic depth at the center.
