The Cure To Insomnia W/ Jeremy Sylvester

INSOMNIA LONDON // THE CURE TO INSOMNIA // JEREMY SYLVESTER // VENUE MOT

An experimental treatment for sleepless nights.

This Thursday, INSOMNIA joins forces with Autonomy LDN for a one-off takeover of Venue MOT, bringing together underground music, immersive installations and a true pioneer of UK garage.

JEREMY SYLVESTER
UK garage pioneer Jeremy Sylvester joins us at Venue MOT.

With over three decades of influence on British dance music, Jeremy has helped shape the sound of UK garage, speed garage and 2-step through an extensive catalogue of productions and remixes.

From his work as G.O.D. to his collaborations with Paul Emanuel as Club Asylum, responsible for the iconic remix of Kristine Blond’s Love Shy, his records have soundtracked generations of dancefloors.

Recognised with DJ Mag’s Underground Hero award in 2022, Jeremy continues to push the sound forward, making this a special opportunity to catch him in an intimate setting.

AUTONOMY LDN

Known for their site-specific installations and strong Irish community, Autonomy are transforming Venue MOT with a bespoke immersive installation created specifically for the night.

Their selectors join the INSOMNIA crew, taking us through house, garage, breaks and techno until 4am.

INSOMNIA COMMUNITY OPEN CALL

For this takeover, we opened up the lineup to our community through a DJ mix competition, inviting emerging selectors to share their sound.

After listening through the submissions, we’re welcoming WHO IS TEEKAY? and ROBYN MAIE to the lineup, giving two artists from our community the opportunity to play alongside Jeremy Sylvester and the wider INSOMNIA x Autonomy crews.
