GIANT SWING with Tonbo

For the first time, GIANT SWING comes to Bar Temp. in Bangkok on October 17, 2026, bringing together sounds from Tokyo and Bangkok for a night of House, Techno, and beyond.

This special edition welcomes two artists from Tokyo: TONBO for a special live set and SYOMA for a DJ set, alongside GIANT SWING resident DJs NK CHAN and GAOLAO.

Tokyo-based live artist TONBO blends modular synthesizers, Bansuri (Indian bamboo flute), and vocals to create an organic yet forward-thinking sound. Moving freely between techno, house, downtempo, and ambient, his improvisational live sets adapt to the space and atmosphere of each performance. He has performed extensively across Europe and Asia.

With deep roots in Tokyo’s party culture, he has organized and run countless events before stepping into his current role as booker at Daikanyama Debris. His refined selections and grounded presence bring a unique sense of trust and flow to the dance floor.
A cultural connector at heart, he bridges people and places with the same energy and chaos that defines Tokyo’s legendary scramble crossing.
In 2021, he co-founded sorameccer sound design alongside DJ KENSEI and TATTI, further expanding his vision and continuing to shape the soundscape of the city.
