SPY BAR PRESENTS: DARSHAN JESRANI (METRO AREA)

Saturday, November 14
Opening DJ: Ryan Obermiller

A rare opportunity to experience an internationally celebrated DJ in the intimate setting of Spy Bar, Boston's underground boutique dance room.

Darshan Jesrani, one half of the influential New York duo Metro Area, joins us for a special night of soulful house, disco, and timeless dance music. A defining presence in underground dance culture since the late ’90s, Darshan is known for his sophisticated, spacey sound and inspired selections that bridge classic disco, funk, house, and unexpected discoveries.

His international appearances include Sónar, Panorama Bar, fabric, Dekmantel, Rainbow Disco Club, and Space. This time, it's a much more personal experience—a small room, an exceptional sound system, and the chance to hear a world-class DJ up close, where the connection between the music, the DJ, and the dance floor is everything.

Opening the night is Boston's Ryan Obermiller, a longtime fixture in New England's underground house and disco scene. With roots at The Red Door and Cambridge's legendary Phoenix Landing, Ryan brings decades of experience and an instinct for building a great dance floor.

No massive club. No festival crowds. Just great music in an intimate underground setting, with room to eat, drink, connect, and dance.
