Sight + Sound + Soul, Vol. 1

Moving Image Arts presents Sight + Sound + Soul, Vol. 1, a multimedia performance that brings three poets, a DJ, and a VJ together on one stage. Rather than performing separate sets, the artists respond to one another live, with music and imagery unfolding alongside each poem.

The evening also includes a poetry open mic, followed by a DJ and VJ set.

Featured artists: Whittier's inaugural Poet Laureate Alejandra Roggero; award-winning educator Donato Martinez; poet Carlos Ornelas (Villain's Vernacular); house and hip-hop producer Miles French (EAR Events); and concert photographer turned VJ Taylor Betancourt (Alt Tab Visuals).
