Sojourn Presents: Tsuruta & Chaouki Alba Sojourn’s fall season continues with Japanese-Lebanese artist Tsuruta. Tsuruta’s journey as a DJ has been propelled forward by his consistent curiosity - from experimenting with modular synths in his father’s studio to dedicating himself to learning and sharing dance music’s history through his time in record stores. This curiosity has birthed a singular style: an eclectic fusion of 80s and 90s electro, techno, new beat, and house - fit to capture your imagination and inspire movement. Welcoming us into the night is Sojourn’s own Chaouki Alba. Through percussive deep cuts, moody atmospheres, and the analogue warmth of the ’90s, he shapes the opening set as a slow, deliberate arc - drawing the room closer one moment at a time and setting the dance floor in motion for the journey ahead. @soundlogicboston will be returning with the sound system that unlocked something special in the room at our last gathering, and sparked more than a few dance-floor epiphanies along the way :) Respect the space, our staff, your fellow dancers, and of course, yourself.
