There is more to Tigerskin than the club records. For Tausend Live, the German producer brings his own music to Bar Tausend in an electronic live performance that explores the breadth of his extensive catalogue. From atmospheric electronica and slower, downtempo grooves to deep house and faster, more driving material, the night leaves room for both close listening and dancing.

Behind Tigerskin is Alex Krüger, also known as Dub Taylor. Active since the mid-1990s, he has developed a wide-ranging discography across several aliases, with releases on Force Tracks, Morris Audio, Dessous, Dirt Crew, Suol and Mood Music. Deep grooves, dub influences and carefully layered textures connect the different sides of his work, whether the music is understated and spacious or more intense.

This live appearance is an opportunity to hear those sides together, rather than through the lens of a single genre or tempo. Drawing on decades of original productions, Tigerskin opens up the quieter corners of his catalogue alongside its more physical, dancefloor-focused moments. Melodies have space to unfold, rhythms shift in pace, and the detail of his studio work comes into focus.
