LAMA STUDIO celebrates its first anniversary at Altrove, Milan, with a night bringing together electronic music, independent artistic research and collective experience.
Across three interconnected rooms, the programme moves between club sounds, listening room and contemporary art, offering different ways to engage with sound, space and image.
CLUB ROOM
Opening duties are handled by Jasmine Delle Vedove, a Milan-based visual designer, DJ and sound designer originally from the Adriatic coast. Through her residency on Radio Raheem, she explores different forms of listening, balancing slow rhythms, deep bass and abstract electronic textures with hypnotic, movement-oriented sounds. Her selections move between atmosphere and physicality, gradually shaping an immersive sonic environment.
Following is Mareeo, originally from Lecco and based in Milan. Moving between clubs, independent spaces, open-air events and festivals, his musical research is deeply rooted in bass culture. Through his residency at Radio Raheem, he explores the wider electronic music spectrum, with a particular focus on bass music, ambient and IDM.
Closing the room is Kreggo, a versatile DJ, producer and record collector from Mongrando, a small village in the foothills of the Alps in Northern Italy. Behind projects such as art-aud, Secret Rave and K Lost Acid Dub, he has released music under different aliases for labels including Nous'klaer Audio, Oath, Return To Disorder, Clone, Furthur Electronix and Super Rhythm Trax. His sets are dynamic and genre-fluid, driven by unexpected transitions and a broad sonic palette, constantly shifting between styles in pursuit of originality, surprise and evolution.
LISTENING ROOM
Wusketti presents “Speedrun”, a project exploring music originally created for video games, recontextualized through the language of the DJ mix. Game soundtracks become autonomous listening experiences, connecting video game music with electronic music culture. Previously broadcast on NTS Radio, the project offers an alternative perspective on the sounds that accompany virtual worlds.
EXHIBITION ROOM
"Breath Not Found" — photo exhibition by Cate Colapietro.
In an age where images are compressed, dematerialized and reduced to streams of data, Breath Not Found explores absence as a defining condition of the contemporary body: the absence of breath, identity and authentic contact. Using a scanner as an unconventional tool for portraiture, the project explores the encounter between body and machine, transforming an impersonal technical device into a site of physical and sensory tension.
Sound system powered by Turbosound.
Special thanks to our friends Les Garcons De La Rue for supporting the scene and making this gathering happen.
