ASCENDENTE COLLECTIVE Sonotex Fest at KEPK

SONOTEX is a day festival and community fundraiser. This is a free event. From 2-10PM Sonotex unravels interactions between textiles and music through performance and sound across acoustic and electronic genres.The dayfest will feature live carpet making and tea.

The ASCENDENTE Collective community fundraiser afterparty will run from 10 onwards. Funds raised will contribute to supporting communites affected by the earthquake in Colombia in 2026.

Vereda Bolivia is a small farming community in Dagua, Valle del Cauca, Colombia (a village, not the country of Bolivia). Since the earthquake, many families still haven’t been able to repair or rebuild their homes, and many struggle to put enough food on the table. All funds will be managed by Doña Victoria, president of the community’s Junta de Acción Comunal (local community action board). She knows each family’s needs firsthand. Smaller donations go to food, tools and essential supplies; larger ones fund the direct reconstruction of a home that is yet to be rebuilt. Every contribution, big or small, helps a family get back on its feet.
