AFRO SLOT SPECIAL is back!

This Friday, AFRO SLOT returns to YOTO with OLIVER & BOAS behind the decks and MERMAID joining as Special Guest. Three artists, different generations and one thing in common: Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro House and Dancehall with plenty of movement built in.

OLIVER has been one of the defining figures of Hamburg’s Reggae and Dancehall scene for decades. Dedicated to the sound since the early 90s, he has left his mark far beyond Hamburg with Silly Walks.

His son BOAS has long since carried that musical heritage into his own generation. With his mix of Afrobeats, Amapiano and Dancehall, he has become a firm part of Hamburg’s Afro club scene and has already supported international artists such as Omah Lay, TayC and NSG.

What connects father and son musically works just as naturally on the dancefloor: OLIVER & BOAS bring together experience, fresh impulses and different generations – always with their eyes firmly set on what’s next.

Joining them as Special Guest is MERMAID. No stranger to the Afro Slot family, she moves between Afrobeats, Amapiano and Afro House, bringing rhythmic selections, warm grooves and a sound that kicks in exactly when the floor starts moving.
