Big Rons special press Feat.Rob Mello

We continue our Big Ron’s Special Press sessions with a true legend of the scene, Rob Mello.

A London-based DJ and producer, Rob has been shaping dance music since 1986. From Disco Elements and Sensory Productions to co-founding Luxury Service and producing the first Black Science Orchestra release alongside Ashley Beedle, his contribution to underground dance music runs deep. 40 years and counting!

He also co-wrote the incidental music for the cult club film Human Traffic alongside Matthew Herbert.

Having caught Rob spinning at Houghton Festival over the last three editions, we knew he’d be a perfect fit for what we want to showcase with these sessions.

For us, it’s about more than just the music. It’s about the legacy, the knowledge passed between generations, the records that deserve to be heard on the right system, and the people who can open up a whole new world of music to others.

This one’s a sizzler

See you on the 21st.
