{ c o a l e s c e n c e } ::: colliding, merging, unifying, fusing, connecting, harmonizing the coming together of particles, droplets, groups of people, into a unified system or structure::: in collaboration with our friends: evening unlimited + fourskin, featuring the canadian debut of a very special artist from minneapolis, minnesota::: lonefront {live} ++++ amrkv, esther côté, michael krochak, sure yeah (a-z) lonefront {live} we first experienced a lonefront set in the middle of a corn field, at the great beyond festival 2023. immense, growling sound pressure and crystalline harmonies, alongside a driving depth and moodiness that felt nostalgic, introspective, and celestial all at once. we knew right then his sound was special and have been looking for a way to get ross hutchens to toronto ever since… with a background in classical violin and guitar, lonefront’s live hardware and modular synth sets are intricate sonic tapestries, both a treat for the mind and body. lonefront came up raving at some of the best warehouse parties on this continent, such as intellephunk and future classic. now an intellephunk resident, who has also played across the states and across the pond at berghain’s säule, lonefront’s sound encompasses raw unadulterated techno with soul and a futuristic edge that is characteristic of the midwest. ross hutchens is a phenomenal producer who runs his own label, uncoiled, which focuses on releasing hypnotic and driving techno using experimental and compositional methods. he has also released on enemy records, decoder’s codec, kajunga, and has a forthcoming release on crystal ceremonies. lonefront’s releases have received support from dvs1, luke slater, donato dozzy, setoac mass, and dj nobu. amrkv :::: lithuanian-born and toronto-based, amrkv crafts sets that balance shadow and light into evocative, introspective techno. drawing from dub, electro, trance and bass, her sound is built around dark, dreamy & melancholic melodies, gritty textures, and layered electronica. these elements carry her sets through a wide emotional range, taking the listener somewhere unexpected and leaving traces that linger. esther côté {mtl} :::: co-founder of evening unlimited, esther côté brings a love for the quirkier edges of techno — exploring shadow and softness, movement and stillness through sets that feel deep, unusual, and textural. michael krochak :::: plays aggressive hypnotic techno, layering waves of pressure to sculpt an intricate and revolving lattice of rhythm and sound. his sets are inspired as much by drone and primitive early electronics as by future facing techno, and they explore the transportive, psychedelic & ecstatic potential of dance music performed at maximum volume. sure yeah :::: a tkaronto-based dj/producer who aims to create musical experiences that are deeply cerebral and physical. his style draws from all corners of techno, layered with touches of other electronic genres to pull listeners into more reflective, abstract dancefloor territory. he's been a consistent contributor to toronto's diy circuit of parties, is one of the organizers behind second nature, and has most recently played best out of town festival. feel free to emt the current tier price to ::: [email protected] & send us an email if price is a barrier < 3 ꩜ with love, without words, into the æther ꩜
