REFLEXIONS invites Coffintexts (MIA) to The Compound on Saturday November 7th to have you moving like never before. We will be bringing you the bounciest vibes, the bass heavy moments, and most importantly the euphoria we all need to keep the energy high for the night.

Coffintexts music is a delicious representation of sultry indulgence, straight from the queer underground. As a producer, she is adventurous and controlled in such a way that excites her listeners. She is bound to make us groove with her intuitive and bodily nature on the decks, through hypnotic genre bending, and exciting mixing.

Supported by some of our favorites that will guarantee us to sweat it out:

ZUAN (DC) will be opening the floor up with warm and inviting sounds that are guaranteed to turn up the heat for us. ZUAN is an organizer and DJ from DC, known for their party Metrosexual at Sun Cinema that has brought producers like Paurro and X3butterfly to the city. We are pleased to invite them for their Baltimore debut.

Followed up will be one of our most favorite DJs from Baltimore, ILUSM. So much to say about our admiration for this incredibly devoted community member and organizer - ILUSM always brings the energy, the love, and uplifting spirit that everyone needs on the dance floor. Since Body Werks first conception here at The Compound, ILUSM has propelled so many of their projects full throttle with their many party series Mariposa, Nexus, and Lockbox as well as their work with the collective DigitalXscape. We are so enthusiastic to have them here to play this very special night.

Alucarda is a Queer Mexican DJ based in Baltimore, MD. She is a member of the Ghetto Witchez collective which highlights talent and music from the Latine and Afro Caribbean diaspora. As an open format DJ, she loves to weave techno, club, latin, hardcore, and deconstructed experimental music to keep dance floors ignited and engaged. At the heart of her sets, is a pulsing sensuality that drips into all the right grooves. As an active member of the DMV music and dance scene, she loves to support local collectives both on the dance floor and behind the decks.
