Abigail's Party

About Abigail's Party Abigail's Party at the Harold Pinter Theatre is Mike Leigh's black comedy of suburban life, set in Essex in 1977. Beverly and her husband Laurence host new neighbours Angela and Tony for drinks, with Sue from next door also invited, and the evening soon turns from small talk to flirtation, tension and marital disputes. The play is a sharp portrait of social class, materialism and sexual tension in 1970s England, unfolding over a drinks party with the music on, the alcohol flowing and the snacks already prepared. Dates: Wednesday 12th August – Saturday 19th September 2026. Before you book No refunds or exchanges after purchase. Venue The Harold Pinter Theatre, Panton Street, London SW1Y 4DN. For access enquiries, call 0800 912 6971. Current cast Tamzin Outhwaite stars as Beverly.
