Kevin Daniel: Jockanory

LEICESTER COMEDY FESTIVAL SILVER STAND-UP WINNER KEVIN DANIEL BRINGS NEW WORK-IN-PROGRESS SHOW 'JOCKANORY' TO NOTTINGHAM COMEDY FESTIVAL

Rising star of the UK comedy circuit and Glasgow-born comedian Kevin Daniel has announced a string of work-in-progress dates for his highly anticipated new stand-up show, Jockanory.

Fresh off winning the prestigious Silver Stand-Up Award at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and twice reaching the semi-finals of British Comedian of the Year, Daniel is stepping back up to the microphone with a brand-new hour of razor-sharp wit and exquisite storytelling.

Jockanory (a playful nod to his Scottish heritage and the classic storytelling format) sees Daniel at his absolute best. In this hilarious new performance, he takes audiences on a deeply relatable journey through the quirks of Scottish life, cultural oddities, and his own personal adventures transitioning from the corporate world of "low finance" to the live stage. With a natural ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, the show delivers a warm, honest, and laugh-out-loud reflection on a man simply trying to survive everyday life unscathed.

Since bursting onto the scene, Daniel has quickly established himself as a powerhouse performer, regularly playing top-tier UK clubs including Just the Tonic, Chuckl Comedy and Anglia Comedy. Known for a commanding stage presence that matches veterans of the industry, Jockanory offers comedy fans an exclusive, intimate look at a master storyteller crafting his next hit hour.

Promoters and critics alike have praised Daniel's undeniable momentum:

"Kevin is devastatingly funny, with a mix of relatable stories and crowd work that just keep the laughs coming again and again." - Juice Comedy

"He has a natural ability to fill a room with laughter, he's a genuinely funny guy." - Just the Tonic

"Headline quality hilarious... excels in front of a live comedy club audience." - Buzz Comedy

Audiences are advised to book early, as work-in-progress spaces are strictly limited to preserve the intimate, conversational energy of the room.
