About Disney’s The Lion King Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is Disney’s internationally celebrated musical. Directed by Julie Taymor, it brings the story of Simba to the stage, following his journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

The production presents Disney’s film in live theatre form, with colour, effects and music at the centre of the show. It offers a clear, narrative-led evening at the theatre, with the familiar story given a full stage treatment.

Before you book The Lion King is recommended for ages 6+. Children under 3, including babies in arms, will not be admitted. All guests aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. Everyone entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

You will receive a confirmation email after booking. If you choose collect at box office, print the confirmation and bring it on the day, at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email and can be printed at home. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.

The venue opens 90 minutes before start time. Arrive 45 minutes before for Grand Circle standing positions, 60 minutes before for Stalls and Boxes E and K, and 75 minutes before for Royal Circle and Boxes A, B, F and G. Guests must be seated no later than 5 minutes before the show starts. Latecomers may need to wait before being seated and could miss part of the performance. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.
