They're back! Life Aquatic Band (LAB) bring the party back to Sidney, ever so close to Halloween. Best costume gets a free T Shirt. Expect loud, fast dance music - lots of synths. Lots of fun. FFO - LCD Soundsystem, B-52s, Talking Heads, Hot Chip. Known for high-energy, genre-hopping live shows, LAB have honed their sound into something tighter, darker and more dancefloor-driven - analogue loops, chanting vocals, and synths that swing from sweet to abrasive, all anchored by a 70s-inspired No Wave backbeat. Fans of Liquid Liquid and Talking Heads will find a familiar pulse, but LAB push it somewhere new.
