About Sinatra The Musical Sinatra The Musical comes to the Aldwych Theatre from June 2026. Created by two-time Tony Award-winning writer Joe DiPietro and Olivier Award-winning, three-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall, it brings Frank Sinatra’s story to the stage.

Set on New Year’s Eve 1942, the show follows the 27-year-old singer as he steps on to the stage of New York City’s Paramount Theatre at a turning point in his career. It also follows the personal strain between Sinatra, his wife Nancy and movie star Ava Gardner as scandal and press attention threaten to derail his rise.

Featuring over twenty classic hits, the musical includes “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”.
