About Hamilton Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of America. Based on Ron Chernow's biography, the show has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, and features choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler with musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, presenting the story of America then as told by America now. Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval. Before you book Hamilton is appropriate for ages 10+ as it contains some strong language. Children under 3 are not admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre, and children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder aged 18 or over. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Venue 79 Victoria Street, London.
