Speaker: Bruce Pearson, Wildlife Artist
Series: Cambridge Natural History Society

Bruce Pearson will look at art created many thousands of years ago and explore early ideas about abstraction and later realistic interpretation, and the romantic view of nature that has been explored by artists right through to the modern age. The talk will also look at some contemporary artists who are now developing much more expressive visions of the natural world and who work in direct support, sometimes collaborating directly with wildlife conservation efforts and the wider environmental movement.
