Clarence Johnson III & John RankinHappy Hour Free Concert Series Experience an afternoon of genre-blending music with New Orleans saxophonist Clarence Johnson III and guitarist and vocalist John Rankin. With more than 30 years of experience, Johnson brings dynamic saxophone playing shaped by jazz fusion, Coltrane, Sun Ra, and collaborations with artists including Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, Delfeayo Marsalis, and Wynton Marsalis. Rankin, a longtime New Orleans favorite and Jazz Fest regular since 1981, blends jazz, classical, folk, blues, and the Great American Songbook through delicate fingerstyle guitar, soulful vocals, and engaging storytelling. Together, these accomplished musicians offer musical exploration rooted in the rich and diverse traditions of New Orleans. Legitimate Service Dogs must be wearing full credentials at all times upon entry, and owner must have licensing papers available upon staff request for service dogs.
