We now have great news for all fans of this exceptional Italian artist! We've managed to include Prague in Bocelli's current Romanzaworld tour, through which the maestro is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of his famous album of the same name. Maestro Bocelli's path to worldwide fame has been paved by iconic collaborations. His career was shaped by his early work with Luciano Pavarotti, but the turning point came with the song "Con te partiro" ("Time to Say Goodbye") from the album Romanza. A live performance with British soprano Sarah Brightman in 1996 was watched by 21 million viewers, and the song immediately became one of the fastest-selling and most successful singles of all time. To this day, it remains one of Maestro Bocelli's most beloved concert pieces. Maestro Bocelli has set countless records; to date, he has sold nearly 90 million records to date and he has amassed over 25 billion streams. The famous tenor has long served as an ambassador for Italian culture around the world. Throughout his dazzling career, Maestro Bocelli has received six Grammy and Latin Grammy Award nominations; he is the recipient of a Golden Globe, seven Classical BRIT Awards, and seven World Music Awards, and has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has performed for four U.S. presidents, three popes, the British royal family, and many prime ministers. He has performed in all the major concert halls, opera houses, and arenas around the world. However, Maestro Bocelli is not only an immensely talented artist but also a great philanthropist. In 2011, he established the Andrea Bocelli Foundation (ABF), whose goal is to develop strategic projects to support people and communities in difficult situations around the world.
