This one starts at 4PM, feeds you first, and makes you earn it. The Cookout is a barbecue, a games day and a party running back to back at Bunker 1965. Come for the food while it's still light out. Stay for the pickleball tournament. 8 hours. 1 venue. Food, sport and a sound system, all under the same roof. 🍖 THE FOOD Smoked and grilled all afternoon, from 4PM. This is a cookout, so the barbecue isn't a side act, it's the reason to arrive early. Get there while it's coming off the grill. Food and drinks from the vendors all evening, priced on the day. 🏓 THE GAMES: PLAY, DON'T JUST WATCH Bunker 1965 has its own courts, and we're using them. Pickleball, padel and pool tournaments played in pairs, with prizes for the winning team Spades, dominoes and UNO tables , shaded and set up all evening Lawn classics: cornhole, giant Jenga, tug of war and ping pong Tournament entry is free and it's beginner friendly. Bring a partner, or tick the box that says you need one and we'll match you on the day. The bracket closes 5 days before the event, so register early. This is the only Halloween event in KL where you can win something with a paddle in your hand. 🏆 🎧 THE MUSIC 90s R&B, afrobeats and hip hop while the food is on, then it climbs all evening. R&B, hip hop, Afrobeats, Amapiano, baile funk, Jersey club and Afro house, mixed by DJs from the KL scene. There's an open aux hour too, where you drop your track request in the jar and take your chances. 🎟️ TICKETS EARLY BIRD · RM 65 🐦 First 100 tickets only, then it's gone. Same night, same everything, 30% off for deciding early. Early Bird closes when 100 tickets are gone or on 30 September, whichever comes first. There's no second release. ⏳ No extra charge for the games. No extra charge for the tournament. Do I need to know how to play pickleball? No. It's the easiest racquet sport to pick up and most people playing on the day will be learning too. Beginners welcome. Can I come on my own? Yes, and plenty will. Tick the box for a tournament partner and we'll match you with someone. What should I wear? Summer casual. Sneakers, tees, shorts, bucket hats. Wear shoes you can move in if you're playing. Is there parking? Yes, free and on site. What if it rains? There is indoor space where all of the activities will be taking place.
