BLUEGRASS POLICE Southeastern Gathering 2026 Southeastern Gathering returns to Public House Bangkok from 20–25 October 2026 , bringing visiting musicians and Bangkok’s music community together for six days of bluegrass, Irish trad and old-time music. The main weekend The main weekend has three big events. Attend one or take the Weekend Pass for all three. Friday, Oct 23 – The Welcome Jam (7–10 PM) A free-flow evening where visiting artists and local musicians meet, jam and create unexpected musical combinations. Meet many of the Gathering’s musicians up close as artists and guests come together for an informal opening jam. Includes three hours of free-flow beer and soft drinks, plus canapés. Saturday, Oct 24 – The Main Gathering (3–9:20 PM) The heart of the festival: six hours and twenty minutes of bluegrass, Irish trad and old-time music, with more than 10 bands and performances from local and visiting artists. Special events for 2026 The Pickin’ Parlour From Tuesday to Thursday, top musicians gather in The Penthouse for three intimate concerts built around the dobro, mandolin and banjo. Each night takes a deep dive into one instrument, bringing leading players together to explore its sound, repertoire and place within the music. Only 20 guests can attend each night. Includes two Jameson welcome drinks per person, plus free-flow beer. Tuesday, Oct 20 – Dobro Night (7–9 PM) Wednesday, Oct 21 – Mandolin Night (7–9 PM) Thursday, Oct 22 – Banjo Night (7–9 PM) Essential FAQ Can I bring an instrument? Only to Friday’s Welcome Jam. Musicians may join when the circle opens. Can children attend? One child under 12 may attend Saturday or Sunday free with each ticketed adult. Friday and the Pickin’ Parlour are not recommended for children.
