John Adams builds from a pulse that never lets go. John Cage hands the decisions over to chance, and lets silence do the rest. Between those two poles sit new works by composers of the Siam Sinfonietta — players writing for the orchestra they play in. Two opposite ideas of how music moves, in one room, over two evenings. Presented by the Bangkok Opera Foundation and Siam Sinfonietta in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Thailand.
