POST Sessions kicks off its first instalment with DJ Nu-Mark. Coming up in Los Angeles’ hip-hop scene in the ‘90s, Nu-Mark made his mark as a member of the legendary Jurassic 5, while simultaneously building a world of his own behind the decks. His highly revered career has taken him from releasing Kanye West’s debut production on Correct Records in 1996 to joining forces with Wu Tang Clan’s Method Man on “Zodiac Killah.” Whether he’s turning tables, turning it up or turning heads, DJ Nu-Mark has always had his hands on the craft. A natural selector with an unwavering adoration for vinyl, Nu-Mark is known for clever transitions and an approach to DJing that invites you to listen a little closer. Tinkering, digging, and selecting, the hip-hop producer lets his curiosity lead the way — from the DJ Toy Set to his viral Zodiac Track series, where he pays homage to pivotal artists by weaving together music from those who share the same astrological sign.
