Kyle MacLachlan – Fictional Selves

Kyle MacLachlan's Manchester date on the Fictional Selves UK tour is Monday 19 October 2026 at the Opera House. The show starts at 7:30pm, and Edith Bowman is the host. The evening is built on MacLachlan's memoir and follows an offbeat path through Hollywood. It covers early years in Yakima, Washington, and an unease with fame that became an alter ego known as 'Other Kyle'. It also includes stories from Dune, Twin Peaks, Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City and Fallout, and the actor's bond with the late David Lynch. There is also time for questions from the audience. The running time is 1hr 50 min, which includes a 20-minute interval. A hardback copy of the memoir is included with each ticket, and tickets are booked through the venue. The age guidance is 14+, and a parent or guardian makes the final call. Manchester is the middle date of three UK stops. The other two are King's Theatre, Glasgow on Sunday 18 October and Central Hall Westminster, London on Wednesday 21 October.
