Trials is a space where never-hit-wonders from the worldwide underground and beyond find a new home. A place for catchy poems and experimental rhythms to meet, soul-soothing sounds to unfold, and overlooked gems to find their way into the light.
Jada welcomes special guest Lovie, all the way from New York. DJ, selector and host. With a curious ear and a soulful approach to music, Lovie selections connect mind, body and soul, guided by a deep musical curiosity and a devotion to the art of listening. Her sound balances warmth and groove with a thoughtful approach to musical storytelling, creating space for both intimate listening and collective movement.
Beyond radio, Lovie is co-founder of Soul Connection, a project rooted in friendship, Black femme empowerment and the shared language of house music and '90s R&B. Recognised by Mixmag as one of its Top 25 Breakthrough DJs of 2024, she also holds a residency at Brooklyn's Public Records. Connecting mind, body and soul, her approach to music puts the listening experience first. Whether behind the decks or in more intimate listening spaces. An encounter between two distinct musical sensibilities, bringing unexpected sounds and shared discoveries into focus.
