Summer Selector Series 03 w/ GRANT DELL [UK]

SUMMER SELECTOR SERIES 003: GRANT DELL

For the third instalment of the Modular Summer Selector Series, we welcome UK-born DJ and producer Grant Dell to Cape Town.

With over 40 releases under aliases including Tribalation, Uhuru Beats and Croydon Punks Ltd, Grant has been shaping underground dance music for decades. Emerging from South London’s early rave and warehouse scene, his sound draws on Chicago house, Detroit techno, dub, disco and post-punk, all tied together by deep basslines, rolling grooves and an unmistakable swing.

A recognised pioneer of tech-house, Grant’s career spans influential releases on labels including Strictly Rhythm, Plastic City and Hooj Choons, alongside international tours and appearances at some of the world’s most respected underground clubs. From his early days immersed in London’s sound-system culture to dancefloors across the globe, his approach has always been rooted in musical depth and the art of the mix.

Join us as we continue our series celebrating the selectors, sounds and influences that shape underground club culture.
