The thirteenth Berlin Deep Tech Nexus, back at TU Berlin for the new semester and held in a 138-seat lecture hall in the university's High-Frequency Engineering building.
Hosted by Science & Startups at TU Berlin. An impulse talk from TU Berlin on research-to-application pathways, then short spotlights from four startups: Soltrac on deployable wings for satellites, Ciyano on fossil-free chemicals from biomaterials, VIRAS on manufacturer-independent robotics platforms, and Open Radio Systems on programmable radio infrastructure. A research spotlight from TU Berlin's Chair in Space Engineering covers the gEICko project, a capture kit for docking uncooperative spacecraft. Curated networking follows.
Free; registration required and subject to approval. The organisers are explicit that there are no sales decks and no pitching pressure.
Why go: space, advanced materials, robotics and radio in one room, with researchers and PhD students alongside founders rather than after them. Best for technical founders, researchers weighing a spin-out, and anyone hiring deep-tech talent.
