Vaadin Create 2026

The full-stack Java conference Vaadin runs in Barcelona: two days at Hotel Catalonia Barcelona Plaza on Plaça d'Espanya, from 09:00 on 27 October through to 16:00 on 28 October.

The framing is the pressure full-stack teams are under — AI writing more code, legacy systems still needing to reach the web, and applications that have to be secure, accessible and long-lived. Sessions span the wider Java ecosystem rather than just Vaadin: Jakarta EE, Spring Boot and Kotlin, with tracks on AI-assisted development, enterprise UI and modernisation. The organisers state you do not need to know Vaadin to attend. Standard tickets are 999 euros excluding 21% Spanish VAT; the 799 euro early bird closed on 31 March. Registration goes through Eventbrite.

Why go: two days of people maintaining real enterprise Java web applications, which is a thinner conference circuit than it should be. Best for senior Java developers and architects weighing a modernisation.
