A 48-hour hackathon at Imperial College's City and Guilds Building, run by the Computational Biology Society with the Entrepreneurship Society and sponsored by Claude. Around 120 builders work on real problems set by biotech companies. Every participant is guaranteed $100 in Claude API credits, and winning teams take home more.
28 November is team formation, hacking, workshops, talks and panels. On 29 November teams submit, selected teams present and judging takes place, and the doors are open to everyone to watch. Track hosts and the exact schedule are still to be confirmed, and the organisers mark venue and dates as subject to change. Free.
Why go: you can ship a working pipeline, benchmark or MVP on a real biotech brief in a weekend. Best for engineers and biologists who want to build with Claude. Check the final schedule before you go.
