UKFin+ is the UK network that connects financial-services research to the industry, regulators and consumers who need it. Its 2026 showcase at the Edinburgh Futures Institute reports on the 33 projects it has funded since September 2023 and asks what should come next, with the network's funded period ending in 2027.

The day is built around 'Wicked Conversations' — workshop sessions on specific problems in financial services and digital technology, run to surface the research and industry priorities that follow. Two keynotes cover projects where researchers, industry and policymakers have already worked together, one of them on quantum computing. Free, with lunch, and up to 20 travel bursaries of £200 for early-career researchers.
