About the venue: An upmarket American restaurant rated 4.4 from around 720 reviews, mid-priced. Note the days and the early close: it is shut Sunday and Monday, and closes at 9pm Tuesday to Friday, so a 7pm start gives two hours. Reviewers mention live music on some evenings and a private dining setting used for group bookings — worth asking about, since this is a restaurant rather than a bar.

Getting there: The venue is on South Clinton Avenue in downtown Rochester. There is no rail transit — the city's subway closed decades ago — so arrival is by car or RTS bus, with downtown garages and street parking a short walk away.
