Another Look presents Tobias Wolff's "Old School"

Please join us at 7 p.m. (PST) on Tuesday, November 17, as we launch our fifteenth season of the Another Look book club. Our discussion will feature Stanford Prof. Tobias Wolff’s novel Old School, published in 2003. The renowned author is a master of the short story and the memoir, and a celebrated teacher of creative writing. This is his first full-length novel. Our event will also be a celebration of Toby, the National Medal of Arts winning author who has contributed so much to Stanford and its English/Creative Writing programs over the years. For many of us, he has been a wise teacher and friend as well. The hybrid event will take place in Stanford’s Levinthal Hall, at the Stanford Humanities Center at 424 Santa Teresa Street on the Stanford campus. Panelists to be announced soon. As always, the event is free and open to the public.
