Step Afrika!’s Fruits of Our Labor at Arena Stage.

MSSC in Motion: Where Culture Becomes Curriculum Join the Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC) for an experiential learning opportunity featuring Step Afrika!’s Fruits of Our Labor at Arena Stage. Through movement, rhythm, storytelling, and the tradition of stepping, students will engage with themes of culture, identity, patriotism, resilience, and belonging while considering how performing arts can serve as a vehicle for cultural expression, historical reflection, and social commentary. Following the performance, students are invited to participate in a post-show discussion with the performers, creating an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the cultural and historical contexts that inform the work. Thursday, October 8 | 12:00 PM Arena Stage | 1101 Sixth Street SW, Washington, DC This experience is free for GW students, but space is limited. Registration is required by October 6.
