Event Description

What can building one of the world’s most recognizable entertainment companies teach us about taking risks‚ pursuing big ideas‚ and creating opportunities before we feel fully prepared?

Join the George Washington University School of Business for a special George Talks Business conversation featuring Ronnen Harary‚ co-founder of Spin Master‚ in conversation with GW Business Dean Sevin Yeltekin.

Harary co-founded Spin Master at age 23‚ less than a year out of college. What began as a young entrepreneurial venture grew into a global children’s entertainment company whose portfolio includes PAW Patrol‚ Bakugan‚ Melissa & Doug‚ Rubik’s Cube‚ and Toca Boca.

Drawing from his entrepreneurial journey and his new book‚ No Experience Necessary: Why Betting on Yourself in Your Twenties Is the Best Decision You’ll Ever Make‚ Harary will share lessons on taking calculated risks‚ choosing the right partners‚ learning through failure‚ fostering creativity‚ and building and scaling an organization from the ground up.

The conversation will explore what aspiring entrepreneurs‚ emerging professionals‚ and experienced leaders alike can learn from approaching opportunities with curiosity‚ conviction‚ and a willingness to challenge conventional assumptions about experience and success.

A moderated audience Q&A will follow the conversation.
