The Huddle Live

The Huddle Live. This event features Ryan Clark, Vince Carter, and John Wall for a live discussion in Cramton Auditorium, joined by 2–3 Howard student-athletes and coaches who will speak to the experience of HBCU athletics from both a player and coaching perspective. The purpose is to give students direct exposure to prominent sports media and industry professionals, while also grounding the conversation in the realities of HBCU athletics today - particularly how the new NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) era is reshaping opportunities, challenges, and decision-making for student-athletes. Together, the panel offers students insight into career paths in sports beyond playing professionally, as well as a firsthand look at how HBCU athletes and coaches are navigating this new landscape.
