Please note this course takes place on Friday 10/23 from 5-9pm, and 10/24 and 10/25 from 8am-5pm. This course builds upon the skills developed in the Climbing Wall Instructor Course. Its focus is on climbing instruction in an outdoor sport climbing environment. Topics covered include releasable rappel setup, rescue techniques, site selection and more. This is a Professional Climbing Instructor Association (PCIA) course and results in certification as a Sport Climbing Instructor (SCI).
Prerequisites: CWI-L or 1-2 years of sport climbing experience.
