Open-source Illustrator (Inkscape) for Scientific Figures

Learn to use an open source alternative to Adobe Illustrator (Inkscape) to make and edit figures for publication (posters, presentations, infographics, journal articles!). In this workshop, we'll be gathering to work through several scientific illustration/graphics development scenarios, as well as working with your own data (if time). If you have your own project, feel free to bring it.

NOTE: This workshop meets in the Autzen classroom of the Valley Library; computers in the Autzen classroom have Inkscape pre-installed. If you want to bring your own laptop, please install Inkscape in advance of the workshop.
