Everybody

Directed by Chloë Rae Edmonson

Branden Jacobs‑Jenkins’s contemporary retelling of Everyman, the medieval morality play where one human is called by Death to begin a journey toward judgment. In this adaptation, a nightly casting lottery determines which archetypal “somebody” will take on that role, as Everybody asks what we carry with us at the end of life.

The Stieren Arts Enrichment Series is made possible by an endowment gift from Jane and the late Arthur Stieren of San Antonio.
